Don't reset map view when hitting the "Create New Map" button

I'll find the area I want to create a new map with some zooming and scrolling. When I'm ready to create a map in the area, it reset my view to a large regional view. It should switch to map editor without adjusting my primary view.

  Yes!! I'm constantly annoyed by this "bug" or whatever it is. For this reason I'm seriously considering not renewing my subscription to Alltrails and going back to my original method of making maps. Although it is a somewhat crude method but I've had reasonably good success before combining Google maps with downloaded topo maps from USGS.
