If you have the AllTrails app downloaded on your mobile device, we will occasionally send push notifications with product tips, special offers and updates about your AllTrails Community.
You can adjust which notifications you receive from AllTrails by following these steps:
Via iPhone or Android app:
- Open the AllTrails app
- Tap on 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
- Tap the Settings icon (
) at the top right corner - Tap on 'Push notifications'
- Tap to tick or untick the boxes next to the notification category(s) you wish to adjust
- Tap the back arrow to finish and return to your general settings
Please note that these settings can only be adjusted via the AllTrails app and not on alltrails.com. If you do not have the AllTrails app downloaded on your mobile device, you will not receive these push notifications from AllTrails.
What about safety notifications?
Important safety notifications, such as off-route alerts and Lifeline updates (AllTrails+ features), will be unaffected by any changes you make within your push notification settings. These types of alerts are directly related to actions within the AllTrails app and cannot be disabled in your AllTrails settings. Though we do not recommend it, disabling all push notifications at the device level (in your phone's settings) will disable these important safety notifications. For this reason, we recommend using the above settings adjustments to control the push notifications you receive from AllTrails so that you can continue to utilise these important safety features.
