If you decide to delete your AllTrails account, you can do that by following these steps, depending on which device you're using:
Via desktop or laptop:
- Log into your account
- At the top right of any page, hover over your profile image and then click 'Settings'
- Click 'Delete account' under Account settings on the right sidebar
- Let us know how we can make AllTrails better for you in the future, then click the grey 'Delete Account' button
Via iOS app:
- Tap 'Profile' from the bottom navigation bar
- Tap the Settings gear icon at the top right corner
- Scroll to the bottom and tap 'Delete Account'
- Tap 'Delete' in the pop-up to confirm you'd like to proceed with account deletion
Account deletion isn't currently available on the Android app.
Noteworthy information about an account deletion:
- Deleting an account will not automatically terminate your AllTrails+ subscription. To avoid unwanted charges, please turn off auto-renew before deleting your account.
- Once you delete your account, all data, walks, photos, and reviews will become unavailable.
- You won't be able to use the email address associated with your deleted account on a future AllTrails account. Any email address associated with a deleted account will be flagged for future data-deletion sweeps, so you should avoid reusing that address on AllTrails.
- You'll receive an email with instructions on how to finalise the deletion of your account.
- Once you've gone through the deletion process, this cannot be undone.
