How do I connect the AllTrails app to Health Connect (Android)?

AllTrails is now compatible with Health Connect for Android! That means when you use Navigator to track your activities on the AllTrails app, your activity data will sync with Health Connect. 

You can start syncing to Health Connect by following these steps:

Via Android app:

  1. Open the AllTrails app
  2. Tap on 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar and tap the Settings icon (Gear.png) at the top right corner
  3. Tap the 'Health Connect' button 
  4. Toggle to select which activity stats you wish to share with Health Connect, or select 'Allow all'
  5. Your AllTrails app will now automatically sync with Health Connect 

Note: If you open Navigator on the AllTrails Android app, you'll be prompted with the option to sync with Health Connect. If you dismiss this prompt twice, you will no longer see the prompt and you will be unable to connect with Health Connect via your AllTrails settings. If this is the case, you can follow these steps to connect:

Via Android settings: 

  1. Open your Android's general settings
  2. Search for 'Health Connect' and tap to select
  3. Tap 'App permissions'
  4. Tap 'AllTrails'
  5. Toggle to adjust which activity stats you wish to share with Health Connect, or select 'Allow all'
  6. Your AllTrails app will now automatically sync with Health Connect

If you wish to stop syncing your AllTrails data with Health Connect, you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Open the AllTrails app
  2. Tap on 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar and tap the Settings icon (Gear.png) at the top right corner
  3. Tap the 'Health Connect' button 
  4. Tap 'App permissions'
  5. Tap 'AllTrails'
  6. Use the toggles to adjust which activity stats you wish to share, or un-toggle 'Allow all' to stop syncing all AllTrails data
