When tapping 'Directions' from any trail details screen, you might notice your phone trying to use an app like Lyft or Uber instead of Google Maps or Waze. This is not related to AllTrails but rather your default phone settings.
You can reset your app preferences under your phone's settings by following these steps:
- Tap 'Settings'
- Tap 'Apps' (or 'Application Manager')
- Tap the overflow menu (three dots) the upper right corner
- Select 'Reset app preferences'
- Re-open the AllTrails app and hit 'Directions' on any trail details page where you'll be able to select a new default Directions option
