When tapping 'Directions' from any trail details screen, you might notice your phone trying to use an app like Lyft or Uber instead of Google Maps or Waze. This is not related to AllTrails but rather your default phone settings.
You can reset your app preferences under your phone's settings by following these steps:
- Tap 'Settings'
- Select 'System'
- Select 'Advanced'
- Select 'Reset Options'
- Select 'Reset App' preferences
- Re-open the AllTrails app and tap 'Directions' on any trail details page where you'll be able to select a new default directions option
