We hope to welcome you to the AllTrails community and realize you may have some questions about your previous iFootpath account and data before coming on board. Please review this FAQ and if you still have questions you can always reach out to support@alltrails.com.
Can I still view my data on iFootpath?
The iFootpath website has officially been redirected to AllTrails and can no longer be accessed. All of your iFootpath account information has been transferred into an AllTrails account.
How do I access my data on AllTrails?
You can simply sign in to AllTrails using your iFootpath email (not username) and your iFootpath password. If you don’t remember your iFootpath password, you can use the AllTrails 'Forgot Password' link here: https://www.alltrails.com/users/password/new
If you have both an iFootpath account and an AllTrails account with the SAME email address, just sign in to AllTrails using your same email address and your AllTrails password. If you don’t remember your AllTrails password, you can use the AllTrails 'Forgot Password' link above.
If you have both an iFootpath account and an AllTrails account with DIFFERENT email addresses, we can easily merge the two accounts. First you must log out of your existing AllTrails account in the AllTrails app and log into AllTrails with your iFootpath account information to activate that account. Then email support@alltrails.com and let us know that you would like your accounts merged and which email address you would like to retain for login.
Please note: If you have an existing AllTrails account and are logged in with that account on the website or in the iOS or Android apps, please log out and log in again to start the import of your iFootpath data.
What data will be imported into AllTrails and how do I see it?
The first time you log in to AllTrails, your iFootpath data, including your favorite list, completed list, walk ratings and comments, photos, and GPX/GPS tracks, will automatically be imported into your new AllTrails account. These tracks (at AllTrails, we call them 'Activities') will go directly into your AllTrails account under your 'Activities.'
By default, these will be imported as private AllTrails activity recordings and will only be visible to you. You can always change these activity recordings to be public if you would like to share them with other AllTrails users, and your friends or family (see below for details).
You can access your activity recordings by following these steps:
Via desktop or laptop computer:
- Log in to your account on https://www.alltrails.com
- Hover over 'Saved' in the header
- Click on 'Activities'
Via iPhone or Android app:
- Open the AllTrails app
- Tap on 'Saved' on the bottom navigation bar
- Select 'Activities' from the drop down-menu (iPhone) or tabs (Android) at the top
How do I make my activity recordings public so I can share them?
If you wish to make those activity recordings public, you can do so by following these steps:
Via desktop or laptop computer:
- Log in to your account on https://www.alltrails.com
- Hover over 'Saved' in the header and click 'Activities'
- Click your recording and tap the overflow button (three dots) above the Activity's name
- Select 'Edit' and a new popup window will appear where you can make edits to your Activity
- Scroll to the bottom of the box and click on the drop down box next to 'Privacy'
- Select 'Only Me' from the list of options to make your Activity private
Via iPhone or Android app:
- Open the AllTrails app
- Tap 'Saved' on the bottom navigation bar
- Select 'Activities' along the tabs at the top of the page
- Tap the recording that you would like to edit
- Tap the overflow menu (three dots) in the upper right corner and select 'Edit activity'
- Scroll down to the area that says 'Privacy level' and click on the dropdown menu
- Set the privacy level to 'Only me' to make your activities private
How do I set my profile to private?
All of your activity recordings will automatically be set to private by default, however, your profile will be public and visible to the AllTrails community. You can change your profile to be private by following the steps in this article here.
What if I do not want to import my content?
We are not currently importing your content into the AllTrails platform unless you log into AllTrails with your iFootpath email.
