What data will be imported into AllTrails and how do I see it?
The following GPSies account information has automatically been imported into your AllTrails account:
Your user account information including your name, email address, and location settings.
Your GPSies Groups have been imported as Lists on AllTrails. You can access your lists Under Saved>>Lists. For additional information on lists, click here.
Your GPSies Notepad tracks have been imported into My Favorites on AllTrails under Saved>> My Favorites.
Your GPSies My Tracks can be found under AllTrails 'Activities' under Saved>>Activities or in your AllTrails 'Maps' under Saved>> My Maps. Any tracks created on the GPSies website or those that do not have time data associated with them can be found under your AllTrails ' My Maps'. All other tracks that were created by a GPS device can be found under your AllTrails 'Activities.' All photos associated with these tracks have been imported accordingly.
Your GPSies 'My Tracks' that have time data have been imported as public AllTrails activities unless you have marked your tracks as private on your GPSies account. If they were set to private they will also be private on AllTrails and will only be visible to you. You can always change these activities to be public if you would like to share them with other AllTrails users, and your friends or family.
If you wish to make your activities private, you can do so by following these steps here.

How do I download my tracks from AllTrails?
As an AllTrails user, in a logged in state you can download a route from a trail page, as well as files for your activities and maps, and other users' activities and maps. You can learn more about exporting files from AllTrails here.
How do I find tracks from GPSies?
All public tracks previously on GPSies have now been migrated to AllTrails.
AllTrails has over 250k hand-curated trails across the globe in our database. These trails all have a verified route, information on the trail details such as distance, elevation, and which activities to do on the trail, driving directions to the nearest trailhead, as well as photos, reviews, and linked activities from our community of users. Based on the location settings of your device, you will automatically be shown trails in your location area. You can also search for trails in other areas.
If you do not see many hand-curated trails in your desired area, you can always switch to 'Community Content' on AllTrails.com. This view will display other users' activities and custom maps. Activities represent other users' tracks that were created using an external GPS device or via the AllTrails app. Maps are hand-drawn routes using our mapping tool or the GPSies track creator.
You can discover other users' tracks by following these steps:
- Log in to your account on AllTrails.com using a desktop/laptop computer
- Click ‘Explore’ in the upper left hand corner
- You will automatically be shown trails based on the location settings on your device, however you can also search for trails in other areas by typing in a city/state/country name or a specific park name in the search bar at the top
- You will then see a map with corresponding trails on the left hand side and trail pins on the map — by default you will be shown 'Curated Trails', or what we consider verified trails
- Alternatively, you can toggle to see other users' maps and activities by clicking 'Community Content' which will display pins on the map with corresponding content from our community of users on the left hand side
You can easily add trails, maps, and activities to lists by tapping the save icon () on any trail page or trail card to keep track of routes you wish to save.
Why do my tracks have different activities on AllTrails?
AllTrails only allows for one activity type per track. Not all of our activity types are the exact same as GPSies. We have mapped the activity types from GPSies to the activity type available on AllTrails for each track that was imported as an AllTrails 'Activity'. You can see the mapping of activity types below:
