Can I still view my account information on Trails.com?
You will be able to access your Trails.com account information on the Trails.com website for a period of time by logging in here.
How do I import my data to AllTrails?
We've made it so that all of your Trails.com account information will be seamlessly ported over to AllTrails.
If you do not have an AllTrails account simply sign in to AllTrails using the email address and the password you use for your Trails.com account.
If you don’t remember your Trails.com password, you can use the AllTrails 'Forgot Password' link here: https://www.alltrails.com/users/password/new
If you have both a Trails.com account and an AllTrails account with the SAME email address, just sign in to AllTrails using your same email address and your AllTrails password. If you don’t remember your AllTrails password, you can use the AllTrails 'Forgot Password' link above.
If you have both a Trails.com account and an AllTrails account with DIFFERENT email addresses, we can easily merge the two accounts. First you must log out of your existing AllTrails account in the AllTrails app or AllTrails website and log into AllTrails with your Trails.com account information to activate that account. Then email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know that you would like your accounts merged and which email address you would like to retain for login.
What data will be imported into AllTrails and how do I see it?
The first time you log in to AllTrails, your Trails.com account information will automatically be imported into your AllTrails account:
Your user account information including your name, email address, location, and your privacy settings.
Your trip reports will be imported into your AllTrails account as 'Reviews.'
Your favorites will be imported into your AllTrails favorites list under Plan>>Favorites.
Your Wishlist will become a custom list in your AllTrails account under Plan>>Lists.
Your Maps will be imported into your AllTrails Maps list under Plan>>Maps.
Your followers and users that you are following will be imported into your followers/following in your AllTrails account so long as they have also imported their Trails.com account
Your Explorer points will be recalculated once you sign into your AllTrails account and are referred to as your 'Reputation Score' on AllTrails.
Your completed trails will be imported into your AllTrails completed list under History>>Completed
Your recorded trails will go directly into your AllTrails 'Recordings' under History>>Recordings.
Your recorded trails will be imported as public AllTrails recordings unless you have marked them private on your Trails.com account. If they were set to private they will also be private on AllTrails and will only be visible to you. You can always change these recordings to be public if you would like to share them with other AllTrails users, and your friends or family.
If you wish to make those recordings public, you can do so by following these steps here.
How do I set my profile to private?
By default your profile will be public and visible to the AllTrails community. You can change your profile to be private by following the steps here.
What if I do not want to import my content?
We will not import your content into the AllTrails platform unless you log into AllTrails using the same email you with your Trails.com email to activate the content import.
If you would like us to delete your Trails.com account please email us at email@example.com.
How do I access my Trails.com Premium subscription?
When you sign in to AllTrails, your Trails.com Premium subscription will be converted to an AllTrails Pro subscription (you can read more about what’s included in AllTrails Pro here).
If you have both an AllTrails Pro subscription and a Trails.com Premium subscription that were both purchased through the AllTrails and Trails.com websites, your AllTrails Pro term duration will be calculated using the amount of time left on both subscriptions. Unfortunately we are unable to modify subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. If you have any questions about your subscription, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
What happened to my Guide Books and Bookshelf?
The Guide Books are no longer available on Trails.com and are not a part of AllTrails. But don’t fret - you’re gaining so much more functionality with your AllTrails Pro subscription! You can read more about what’s included in AllTrails Pro here.
