How to change the privacy setting for a specific map

Via Android app:

(This function isn't currently available in the iOS app.)

1. Tap 'Saved' on the bottom navigation bar
2. Select 'Lists' from the tabs at the top of the screen
3. Tap 'My maps'
4. Tap the map you'd like to manage
5. Once the map opens, swipe up to open the drawer to view additional options and select 'Trail overview'
6. Tap the overflow menu (3 dots) in the top right corner and select 'Edit map'
7. Adjust the privacy level and tap 'Apply'
8. Tap 'Save'

Via desktop or laptop:

1. Log into your account
2. At the top right of any page, hover over 'Saved' and in the dropdown select 'My maps'
3. Click the map you'd like to manage
4. Click 'Edit map' at the bottom left corner
5. Select your preferred privacy setting (under the 'Description' tab) and click 'Apply'
6. Click 'Save custom map' at the bottom left corner
