AllTrails Pro subscription gift cards are delivered by email or a printed PDF. They contain a redemption code and a link or instructions to redeem on the web. When redeemed, the Pro subscription will be applied to your account for the length of time that was gifted.
You'll be able to easily redeem your gift directly on our website on our gift redemption page here. If you received your gift via email, you'll also be able to click the link in the email to access the redemption page. If you are not already logged into your AllTrails account, you will be prompted to do so before applying your gift coupon, then you can follow these steps:
- Click through the link in your email, or visit https://www.alltrails.com/redeem
- Enter your gift coupon code, then click 'Redeem'
- You'll receive confirmation that the subscription has been successfully applied to your account
That's it! Credit card information is not required to redeem your gift*. For gifted annual subscriptions, you'll receive a reminder email several days before your subscription expires with the option to add a credit card and continue your subscription. Three-year subscriptions do not renew automatically, therefore if you were gifted a three-year plan, your subscription will simply expire at the end of your term.
*For some gifts that were purchased before our system updates, a credit card is required. See below** for more info.
What if I already have a Pro subscription?
If you already have an active Pro subscription that was purchased on our website, you'll be able to redeem the gift card as outlined above. The time value of the AllTrails gift subscription will be applied to your existing subscription. Once you’ve redeemed the gift membership on your account, you will not be charged for your regular subscription until your gift expires.
NOTE: If you have an active AllTrails Pro subscription through iTunes or Google Play, you will need to cancel your subscription and allow it to expire, prior to redeeming the gift. Due to restrictions on adjusting this payment method, we are unable to modify subscriptions purchased via iTunes or Google Play directly, which includes automatically adding gift membership time to an existing subscription. My code isn't working on the redemption page - what do I do now?
For some users who received a gift coupon that was purchased a while back, you may be unable to redeem your gift on the redemption page. This is because we have recently updated the gift-giving process, but don't worry - you'll still be able to redeem your gift! Here is how to do so:
- Log in to your account on https://www.alltrails.com
- Click 'Upgrade to Pro' at the upper right corner, or go to https://www.alltrails.com/pro
- Select the 'Annual Plan' (all old-format gifts will only be for this plan) and click 'Get Started'
- Click 'Have a coupon code?' then enter the gift coupon code and click 'Apply'
- Enter your credit card information**, then click 'Get AllTrails Pro'
**Our old-format gifts require a credit card on file for redemption. By default, they will be setup to renew automatically one year from the date your gift is redeemed. You can disable auto-renewal on your account at anytime, as outlined here.
