Download map zooming/Save fix

When I'm choosing a map area to download, if I zoom out too much, the Save button grays out.  Then, inexplicably, I have to zoom way in, then I can zoom out again, trying to guess just how far I can go before the Save button will gray out again.  I usually have to repeat the process about 4 times before I think I've chose an area that maximizes what I can download.

This is really annoying and completely without reason..

Suggestion: instead of graying out the Save button when I zoom out too much, just stop me from zooming out when I reach the limit for download.  Seems like an obvious fix.
