Unable to create or view maps

Not sure if a new version was loaded, but I can no longer search for locations when trying to create a map using my MacBook Pro.   I click enter on the keyboard after entering a location and nothing happens.   In addition, when loading saved maps on my iPhone using the app, I get a black screen with just the green location dot.   After an extended period of time, a map appears (which is very different looking the previous maps.  I can longer zoom in using the app and when I move the screen and hit recenter, the map goes black again for another extended period of time, if it comes back at all.   Also, there is still a problem with having no distance scale on the maps.  This issue has been over a year.  I have deleted and re-added app several times, but issue still remains,   Alltrails has definitely declined in quality and working functionality over the past year.  I have been a pro member for over 3 years but thinking of not renewing in 2023 as I can't rely on it.
