Make it easier to see trail names

It is hard to see trail names when navigating.

It would nice if map would always show direction of travel. It is annoying always having to touch the North icon.

Can there be a setting that allows map to always be visible?

  A preview of what trail to turn on would be helpful too, sort of like a driving GPS.  I want to know how far it is and the name of the next trail.
