Ability to see your recording time along a route

On many occasions I finish a hike and arrive home to question: how long did it take you to get to the top? Unfortunately, unless I remember what the time on the recording was when I hit the summit, I am forced to guess based on the mile splits. Would it be that difficult to enable users to "scrub" along the recording where it tells you elevation, distance, and the grade but additionally tell you the time of the recording at that point?
