How to change your email address or phone number on AllTrails

1. Tap 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
2. Tap the '...' overflow menu in the top right corner
3. Tap 'Edit profile'
4. Type in your new email address and tap 'Save' in the top right corner

If you see an error message when trying to update your email address, in most cases this means that that email address is already in use on another AllTrails account. You can resolve this by asking Scout (our support bot) to merge your accounts into one account that has your desired email address.

If you'd like to update the phone number connected to your AllTrails account, just follow these steps:

Via desktop or laptop:

1. Log into your account
2. At the top right of any page, hover over your profile image and in the dropdown select 'Settings'
3. Select 'Account' at left under 'Settings'
4. Type in your phone number in the 'Phone number' field and click 'Save'

Note: You may see a placeholder phone number in your profile settings, such as 555-0123, which is used to show the expected phone number format for your region; you can ignore it or replace it with your own number.
