How to add items to your favourites or a custom list

Lists allow you to keep track of trails and user content that you might want to explore, that you've completed, or that you simply find fun, beautiful, or inspiring. This article will walk you through adding items to your favourites or another custom list.

Looking to add trails to your 'Completed' list? This process is a bit different, but we have an article to walk you through it.

You can add items to a list by following these steps:

Via desktop or laptop:

1. Log into your account
2. Adding items to 'My favourites':
   • Click any save icon () on a trail, activity, or custom map card you want to favourite
   • Select 'My favourites' from the lists menu at the bottom
   • The save icon will fill in () once the item has been saved to your favourites list
   • For trails, you can also click on a trail card; once you're on the trail details page, you can save a trail by clicking the save icon () towards the top-right side.
3. Adding items to a custom list:
   • Create your custom list (if you haven't already) by following these steps
   • Click the save icon () on a trail, activity, or custom map card for the item you want to add
   • Select the list you want to add the item to from the lists menu
   • The save icon will fill in () once the item has been saved to a list
   • For trails, you can also click on a trail card; once you're on the trail details page, you can save a trail by clicking the save icon () towards the top-right side.

Via iPhone or Android app:

1. Adding items to 'My favourites':
   
   • Tap the save icon () on a trail, activity, or custom map card you want to favourite 
   • Select 'My favourites' from the lists menu at the bottom
   • The save icon will fill in () once the item has been saved to your favourites list
   • For trails, you can also tap a trail card; once you're on the trail details page, you can save a trail by tapping the save icon () towards the top-right side.
2. Adding items to a custom list:
   
   • Tap the save icon () on a trail, activity, or custom map card you want to save
   • Select your desired list from the menu at the bottom or select 'Create new list' 
   • The save icon will fill in () once the item has been saved to your list
   • For trails, you can also tap a trail card; once you're on the trail details page, you can save a trail by tapping the save icon () towards the top-right side.
