The AllTrails community appreciates your photo submissions to the trail photo galleries. Photos of the trail terrain, landscape, and views are helpful to give users an idea of what to expect on the trail.
Group shots, selfies, personal photos, and inappropriate content may be removed. You can add photos to any trail by following these steps:
Via desktop or laptop computer:
- Log in to your account at https://www.alltrails.com/en-gb/
- Click on the trail card for which you would like to add photos
- On the trail details page, click on the '# photos' button on the bottom left of the main photo
- Click the 'Upload photos' button
- Click on 'Browse files' to select photos or drag photos into the box
- When you are finished, click the 'Upload' button
NOTE: Depending on your internet connection speed it can take a few minutes to upload.
Via iPhone app:
- Open the AllTrails app (make sure you are in a place with a good data connection)
- Tap on the trail card for which you’d like to add photos
- Tap on the main photo
- Tap 'Sights' and scroll to the bottom of the page
- Tap 'Add photos'
- Select your photos
NOTE: You can select photos from multiple categories/albums and upload them at once. The count of selected photos will show as a number on the bottom of the page.
Via Android app:
- Open the AllTrails app (make sure you are in a place with a good data connection)
- Tap on the trail card for which you’d like to add photos
- Tap on the main photo
- Tap the box in the top right corner with the + icon on it
- Select your photos
NOTE: If you take photos within the AllTrails app while navigating and link your activity to a trail, your photos will be automatically add to the trail's photo gallery.
