If you're currently a Plus member, Peak helps you take your adventure to the next level with Custom Routes, Trail Conditions, and Community Heatmaps. The steps to upgrade will vary depending on your original Plus subscription method:
If you're subscribed directly with AllTrails:
- Go to AllTrails.com and log in

Go to the Profile menu:
- On a computer, tap your avatar in the top right corner of the page
- On a phone, tap the menu icon in the top right, then tap 'Account'
- Select 'Unlock more with Peak'
- Provide your credit card details and click 'Continue with Peak' to complete the purchase
Note: The remaining value of your Plus subscription will be applied to Peak at a prorated price. Your billing cycle will renew or cancel one year from the date of your upgrade.
If you're subscribed through the Apple App Store:
If you're still using an iOS device:
- Open the AllTrails app on your iOS device
- Tap 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
- Tap 'Unlock more features' and confirm your payment information
- Tap 'Continue with Peak' to complete the purchase
If you no longer have access to your iOS device:
- In any web browser, visit: Apple subscriptions
- Log in using your Apple account
- On the 'Subscriptions' page, click on the AllTrails app
- Click on 'See all plans' > choose 'Peak' > complete purchase
Note: If you subscribed through Apple, your current Plus subscription will be automatically canceled and refunded on a prorated basis. You'll then be charged the full price for Peak in a separate transaction.
If you're subscribed through the Google Play Store:
If you're still using an Android device:
- Open the AllTrails app on your phone
- Tap 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
- Tap 'Unlock more features' and confirm your payment information
- Tap 'Continue with Peak' to complete the purchase
If you no longer have access to your Android device:

Within 30 days of purchase:
Start a live chat with our Support Bot. You can access the bot by clicking the chat icon at the bottom right corner of this screen. (On mobile web, you can access the bot via your edit profile page.) We'll help cancel and refund your Google Play subscription so you can repurchase on your preferred platform. -
More than 30 days since purchase:
Please email us at support@alltrails.com. Our team will assist in canceling your Google subscription so you can switch to the platform of your choice.
Note: Google subscribers will receive one year of Peak, plus additional months based on the remaining value of their Plus subscription.
FAQs
Can I upgrade through a different platform from which I used to sign up?
No, you must upgrade to Peak via the same platform as your active Plus subscription.
Can I get a Peak trial?
Current Plus members are not eligible for a free trial of Peak.
What if I'm in a Plus trial right now?
You can go ahead and upgrade! You'll have access to Peak features for the remainder of your trial — and you'll be charged for a Peak subscription when your trial ends.
Will my account history transfer over?
All your data — including saved trails, profile, and activity history — will remain intact.
