AllTrails has teamed up with REI Co-op to offer REI members exclusive pricing on AllTrails Plus and Peak memberships. These discounts – $25/year for Plus and $50/year for Peak – can be claimed by REI members annually.
Availability and eligibility
- Currently available only for US-based REI members
- Any US-based REI member can activate the discounts by connecting their REI and AllTrails memberships
How to activate the discounts
- REI members can connect their REI and AllTrails memberships by clicking 'Get started' on our partnership landing page. Once you've successfully linked your REI member number to your AllTrails account, this will automatically unlock the discounted pricing when you continue with the REI member checkout.
- If you don't know your REI member number, you can find it via the REI member number lookup tool.
Note: Once you;ve connected your memberships, the discounts can only be redeemed through the REI member checkout (from the partnership landing page).
FAQ and troubleshooting
Will my AllTrails membership auto-renew with the discount every year?
Not automatically. You'll need to opt into the discount before each annual renewal. (We'll send you reminders to do this as your renewal date approaches.)
I claimed the REI discount on AllTrails Plus – can I upgrade to Peak at REI pricing before my renewal date?
You can! Once your REI member number has been added to AllTrails, this will unlock both the Plus and Peak discounts. You can upgrade from Plus to Peak at any time. Just be sure to upgrade through the REI member checkout.
I'm an REI member based in the US, but I can't access the landing page or the REI member checkout.

I linked my REI member number and successfully checked out with the discount, but now I don't see Plus or Peak active on my account.
The most common explanation for this is being logged into different AllTrails accounts on different devices. If this is the case, you can try logging out on the device where you aren't seeing your membership, and then logging back in with an email address you think might be linked to your REI number. If you try this and still can't find your discounted membership, you can email us at support@alltrails.com and we'll get you back into your paid account.

As an REI member, you are eligible for special pricing on AllTrails Peak membership at $49.99/year, then $79.99/year if you do not reclaim your annual benefit before your renewal date.
