The map layer is continually being improved and updated with more accurate information. You can help improve this map by contributing to OpenStreetMap, or sending us feedback.
Trails and roads
Trails where bicycles are permitted

Trails that are not open to the public
Paths that may have significant exposure and fall risk, require scrambling, or otherwise be riskier than travel on other trails.
Trails that are not maintained as part of an official trail system and may be overgrown or hard to follow.
Sets of steps on footways or paths
Often unpaved roads, mostly used for agriculture, forestry, outdoor recreation, and similar activities.
