How to update your default location

AllTrails requires a valid city to be associated with your account so that we can recommend great local trails. You can update your default location by following these steps:

Via iPhone or Android app:

1. Tap your profile image at top right
2. Tap the '...' overflow button at top right and choose 'Edit profile'
3. Tap the 'City' field below the 'Location' header
4. Type in your city name and then tap the matching result
5. Tap 'Save' at top right

Via desktop or laptop:

1. Log in to your account
2. At the top right of any page, hover over your profile image and in the dropdown select 'Settings'
3. On the left, click "Profile"
4. Type in your city, click the 'Search' button, then click the appropriate result
5. At the bottom of the page, click 'Save'
