How to update your default location

AllTrails requires a valid city to be associated with your account so that we can recommend great local trails. You can update your default location by following these steps:

Via iPhone or Android app:

1. Tap 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
2. Tap the overflow button (3 dots) at the top right corner and choose 'Edit Profile'
3. Tap the city field underneath 'Location'
4. Type in your city, tap the appropriate result, and choose 'Save'

Via desktop or laptop:

1. Log in to your account
2. At the top right of any page, hover over your profile image and in the dropdown select 'Settings'
3. On the left, click "Profile"
4. Type in your city, click the 'Search' button, then click the appropriate result
5. At the bottom of the page, click 'Save'
