Here's how you can change your language settings for your app experience, your website experience, and the emails and texts you receive from AllTrails:
Marketing outreach language
Via desktop or laptop:
- Log into your account
- At the top right of any page, hover over your profile image and in the dropdown select 'Settings'
- Scroll down until you see the 'Marketing language' field
- Select your language preference from the dropdown menu and click 'Save' at the bottom
Via the iPhone or Android app:
- Tap 'Profile' on the bottom navigation bar
- Tap the Settings gear icon at the top right corner and scroll down to 'Marketing language'
- Select your language
AllTrails.com language
To adjust the language for using the alltrails.com website, go to the bottom of the page and in the footer on the right-hand side you'll find a language selector dropdown. Use the selector to choose your language.
AllTrails app language
The AllTrails app uses the language on your phone to detect which language the app will display in. If you want to change the language of your app (back to English for instance) you'll need to change the language on your device.
You can change the language settings on your phone by following these steps:
iPhone:
- Go to Settings >> General >> Language & Region
- Select iPhone language and select one of the languages we support
Android:
Pixel devices
- Go to settings >> system >> languages & input
- Move your preferred language to the top
Samsung devices
- Go to settings >> general management >> languages & input
- Move your preferred language to the top
