Pet Profiles are an extension of tagging friends in your activities. You can create profiles for your pets and tag them in your completed activities!
Pet Profiles let you create up to 20 profiles for each of your pets using a name and profile photo, which you can edit or delete at any time. You can then select a pet profile when tagging a pet in one of your completed activities. When an activity includes a tagged pet profile, you also unlock a pet-related shareable activity image for that activity.
How to access Pet Profiles in the AllTrails app
- Tap the Activity tab at bottom right
- Tap one of your recorded activities
- Tap the plus sign just to the right of your profile image, below the activity highlight photo
- Tap 'Tag a pet'
Once you're in the 'Tag a pet' drawer, you'll be able to tag an existing pet profile into that activity, or create a new pet profile to tag in by tapping 'Add new pet'.
To remove a tagged pet from an activity, tap the plus sign next to its profile image(s), and you'll see a 'Remove' option next to tagged pets. This will un-tag the pet from that activity, but it won't delete the pet profile -- you'll still be able to access it and tag it into other activities.
How to edit a pet profile
- From any activity, tap the plus sign just to the right of your profile image, below the activity highlight photo
- Tap 'Tag a pet'
- Tap the profile image of the pet profile you want to edit
- Update the profile information and tap the 'Save' button when finished
How to delete a pet profile
- From any activity, tap the plus sign just to the right of your profile image, below the activity highlight photo
- Tap 'Tag a pet'
- Tap the profile image of the pet profile you want to delete
- Tap 'Delete pet' at the bottom of the screen
How to access the pet-related shareable image
When a pet profile is tagged in an activity, you get access to a pet-related shareable page for that activity.
At least one pet profile must be tagged in the activity to access the pet-related shareable. You can have up to 3 tags total, and you can rearrange the profile images of the tagged profiles.
Here's how you can access it:
- Tap the Activity tab at bottom right
- Tap the relevant recorded activity
- Tap 'Share'
- Scroll right to find the shareable asset that includes the tagged pet profile(s)
Can I customize the pet-related shareable image?
Customization is currently available on iOS only. Support for Android is planned.
