Thank you for contributing a trail to AllTrails! Any suggested trail additions must first be evaluated by our moderators. This process may take a few days to a few months depending on our ability to verify the information. Please note that seasonal changes, natural disasters, and holidays may delay the timeline for trail approvals.
For a faster approval time, please include information such as a trail name, photos, a description, multiple tags, etc., with your trail submission. In addition, if you want to have access to a new trail instantaneously, you can create a custom map. Custom maps don't require moderator approval and can be shared with anyone right away. How do I know if my trail was approved?
If you submit a new trail on AllTrails and it's approved, you'll be able to search for the trail by name on AllTrails.com or within the 'Explore' tab. Once a trail has been approved and added, it will be discoverable by all AllTrails members. Please note that our trail moderation team will occasionally make edits to the proposed trail name upon approval.
