As a Peak member, you may notice new routes and maps appearing in your 'Custom routes & maps' or ‘My maps’ sections over time as you use AllTrails. This article outlines the various ways in which items are added to this section of your AllTrails account. There are several different actions that will cause a new route or map to appear here:
-
Creating a custom route
- Peak members have the ability to create new routes via the Custom Routes feature. When you create a new route, you can access it later in the 'Custom routes & maps' section of the app or ‘My maps’ section of the website.
-
How to customize existing routes
- You can also customize an existing AllTrails verified route. All of the same route-building tools will be available to help make it your own.
-
Saving a map area on the AllTrails app
- To save a map area in the app, go to 'Saved' >> 'Lists' >> 'Custom routes & maps' >> overflow menu (3 dots) >> 'Save map area'. You can pan to any area then tap 'Save' and add a title.
Your routes and maps will sync across your devices, regardless of how they were added to this list. Here's how you can access your custom routes and maps on AllTrails:
- AllTrails.com: Hover over 'Saved' in the header and select 'My maps'
- AllTrails mobile apps: Tap 'Saved' >> 'Lists' >> 'Custom routes & maps'
