Plus allows you to explore even when your phone is out of cell service, by making AllTrails content and navigation available offline.
- Offline trails: If you think the trail you're planning to hike may have limited cellular service, you can download it to your phone as a single trail.
- Offline parks: If you're headed to a local, regional, or national park where service may not be reliable, you can download the entire park, which includes every trail and key park info.
- Offline areas: You can define and download your own area for customized and flexible planning.

- 3D maps: View an enhanced visualization of trails, including peaks and valleys, to better understand the terrain before heading out.
- Tour photos along the trail: Get a glimpse of changes on the trail throughout the seasons and preview popular trail sights to plan your trip effectively.
- Printed maps: Print customized maps with options for scale, orientation, gridlines, and paper size. Have a backup plan without needing guidebooks.
- Trail Conditions: Access expected condition information along the trail, including temperature, precipitation, snow depth, and alerts for air quality and mosquito activity.

Know the trail and personalize your experience
- Community Heatmap: See trail traffic data to find popular trails or quieter hidden gems. Community Heatmap gives insights into recent outdoor activity to help you plan an adventure that aligns with your preferences.
- In-app Custom Routes: Create or fine-tune your ideal trail, even when you're on the go and don't have access to a computer. You can start from scratch, customize existing trails, and use AllTrails smart-routing to instantly make a trail shorter, less steep, or more scenic.
- Outdoor Lens: Point your in-app camera at a tree, flower, or insect to identify it and learn more. You can save your identified plants and insects to your Logbook to keep a record of what you've encountered out on the trail.
