FAQs
What if I'm offline?
Out of reach? We'll save your scans in your logbook so they’ll be ready to identify when you're back online.
What if the identification is incorrect?
We'll provide a probability percentage to indicate the likelihood of accuracy — and show up to five alternate results. Make sure your photo is in focus, well-lit, and centered. If it still doesn’t look right, let us know.
Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes! You can identify one plant, mushroom, or insect before upgrading.
Does Outdoor Lens provide safety advice for wild plants or mushrooms?
Outdoor Lens can help you identify what you're looking at, but it doesn't confirm whether something is safe to touch or eat. Results are AI-assisted and should always be double-checked with trusted sources—especially when it comes to safety.
